Paradise Lost Movie

Director Alex Proyas is working on Paradise Lost, an upcoming fantasy action movie based on 17th century epic poem of the same name written by English poet John Milton. Alex Proyas's Paradise Lost is an action-heavy take on the epic poem which centers on the war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer. The film is starring Bradley Cooper as Lucifer and Benjamin Walker as Michael. No official release date yet, but the film will likely be released sometime in 2012.

Here's a video of the panel on Paradise Lost during the 2011 Comic Con:

Plot
"Lucifer and Michael, God's greatest archangels, share the bond of extraordinary friendship until God produces his greatest creation: Man. Unable to remain subservient to God if it means bowing down to humanity, Lucifer begins his dark descent and is cast out – only to plot his revenge."

The Bible can inspire some quite entertaining content. But they'd better find the right budget for this film... Hell we don't want yet another cheap attempt to milk the Bible: B-movie special effects wouldn't do it!

Anyway, more information about the movie Paradise Lost as soon as details emerge.
